ESTAPES Garniture Tape
Garniture tape is a conveyance medium used for transporting tobacco and wrapping paper, ensuring an appropriate coefficient of friction to enhance the efficiency of machine components. It is a consumable of Automatic Cigarette Making Machines. It carries cigarette paper filled with cut tobacco through the garniture assembly.

ESTAPES supply linen garniture tapes and high tenacity aramid fiber garniture tapes for cigarette and filter production:

Material Options
Aramid fibers (Plain) are a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibers. They are used in aerospace and military applications, for ballistic-rated body armor fabric and ballistic composites, in marine cordage, marine hull reinforcement, and as an asbestos substitute. The chain molecules in the fibers are highly oriented along the fiber axis. As a result, a higher proportion of the chemical bond contributes more to fiber strength than in many other synthetic fibers. Aramides have a very high melting point (>500 °C).
Linen fibers are natural fibers derived from the flax plant, known for their excellent durability, flexibility, and breathability. Linen fibers offer stable friction and smooth running performance for tobacco machines. Cost-effective and reliable, they are ideal for standard-speed production with consistent forming results.
Steam Tape is specially designed for high-speed cigarette making machines equipped with water-cooling tongue pieces. It ensures stable operation under high temperature and moisture conditions, improving forming consistency and production efficiency.
Super Wide Tape is designed for the production of super thick cigarettes and cigars. With a wider structure, it ensures stable conveying and forming of large-diameter products during operation.
